Asian Games Selection Announcement
The Surfing Federation of India (SFI) is delighted to announce the athletes selected to represent India in surfing at the forthcoming Asian Games.
The selections follow a thorough process conducted by the SFI Asian Games Selection Committee.
This process drew on national series performance, dedicated selection camps, international competitive exposure, and the assessment of the national coaching staff. Based on these considerations, the Committee has finalised both the men's and women's surfing squads.
Each squad consists of two selected athletes and two reserve athletes. The names below are listed in no particular order.
Women's Squad
Selected athletes: Kamali Moorthy, Sugar Shanthi Banarse
Reserve athletes: Shrishti Selvam, Devi Ramanathan
Men's Squad
Selected athletes: Kishore Kumar, Sivaraj Babu
Reserve athletes: Ramesh Budihal, Srikanth D
In accordance with the SFI selection policy, this selection wil be reconfirmed on 20 June 2026.
The Federation congratulates every athlete on this achievement and thanks all who took part in the
selection process. We extend our best wishes to the squad as they prepare to represent the nation.
