Asian Games 2026 Selection Committee Reconstituted

Notification: Reconstitution of Asian Games 2026 Selection Committee

In compliance with the Final Unanimous Common Order issued by the SFI Appeals Panel in matters SFI/SEL/AG/2026/APP-01 and SFI/SEL/AG/2026/APP-02, and in the interest of ensuring transparency, fairness, athlete welfare, and good governance in the athlete selection process, the Surfing Federation of India hereby reconstitutes the SFI Asian Games 2026 Selection Committee with immediate effect after an extraordinary general council meeting & subsequent meeting of nominees.

The reconstituted Selection Committee shall comprise:

  • Samai Reboul – High Performance Director (Non-Voting Chair)

  • Manikandan Desappan – ISA Coach

  • Bharat Ganesh – ISA Coach

  • Sathya Shamanth Gowda – ISA Judge

  • Nitisha Sethia – Athletes Representative

  • Adil V Damania – Legal & Ethics Observer (Non-Voting)

The Committee shall discharge its responsibilities in accordance with the SFI Selection Policy, applicable governance standards, and the principles of transparency and accountability and shall be responsible for selection of Asian Games 2026 (Surfing) athletes selections only.

This notification takes effect immediately.
