WSL - Shore Temple Classic 2026

Exciting news for Indian Athletes! The Shore Temple Classic — WSL QS 2000 & Pro Junior (JQS) is happening in Mahabalipuram from 12th to 16th August 2026.

Indian athletes interested in participating, please read carefully:

WSL Membership

All athletes must have an active WSL membership to register.

Wild Cards

There will be 16 wild cards available across all categories:

•⁠ ⁠Men's Open — 4 wild cards

•⁠ ⁠Women's Open — 4 wild cards

•⁠ ⁠Men's Junior (21 & under) — 4 wild cards

•⁠ ⁠Women's Junior (21 & under) — 4 wild cards

Wild cards will be announced after the Covelong Classic Nationals. Athletes who want to wait for the wild card announcement are welcome to do so.This will be purely on national ranking.

Single Event Registration — $30 USD

Athletes who don't want to wait can register directly via Single Event Registration at $30 USD.

Junior athletes (21 & under) can double dip — register for both the Pro Junior (JQS) and the QS 2000.

•⁠ ⁠Men's QS 2000 — 64 surfers

•⁠ ⁠Women's QS 2000 — 32 surfers

•⁠ ⁠Men's Pro Junior — 32 surfers

•⁠ ⁠Women's Pro Junior — 24 surfers
